Tamar Braxton Refuses To Speak To Her Mother Evelyn

Apparently, Tamar is furious that her mother Evelyn spoke to TMZ cameras telling Vince to “keep his hands off” of Tamar “before he kills her” — pretty much confirming that Vince & Tamar’s relationship was a violent one. According to Page Six, a source exclusively revealed that Tamar’s not even returning her mother’s calls since the video ran:

“Tamar is not speaking to her mother right now after [Evelyn] told [paparazzi] cameras Vince needs to keep his hands off of her. She added fuel to domestic violence rumors.”

If you’ll recall, news broke last year of an all-out brawl between Tamar and Vince in an Atlanta hotel, that resulted in Vince biting Tamar’s finger up so badly that she needed stitches. Of course, Tamar vehemently denied that her husband ever put hands on her, and called the entire story bogus — despite multiple witnesses and even a recorded 911 emergency call.

Now that her mother has basically spilled the beans that it’s all true, she’s refusing to even shoot scenes for Braxton Family Values with her Mom present. Production sources confirm that she didn’t show up for a scheduled family filming at all over the weekend.

SMH. Tamar is going through enough with a high-profile divorce and, it appears, transitioning out of an abusive relationship. It doesn’t seem like the best idea to toss estrangement from her own mother on the pile as well…
