Keisha Lance Bottoms Adds T.I., Killer Mike To Her Transition Team
Newly elected Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms is stacking her transition team with top rappers, CEOs, and educators.
WSBTV reports that Mayor Bottoms has appointed T.I., “Killer Mike” and Ron Clark from The Ron Clark Academy as advisers.
“I really want them to come with fresh ideas,” said Bottoms. “We are seeking to make sure that we attract the best talent in the city and that we are forward thinking and not just thinking about whatever the issues are that we are facing today.”
Other appointees include CEO and Chairman of UPS, the CEO of Delta Airlines Inc., an APS school board member, Senator Jason Carter, Grammy-award winning rapper, actor, entrepreneur and a pastor from the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church.
