Michelle Obama is certainly the “Hottest Chick in the Game” by all means. She is currently at the top of French Elle’s Best Dressed List:
First lady Michelle Obama won top honors from French Elle magazine this week, coming in first in the category of “Politique Chic” in the magazine’s annual Best Dressed List.
Obama edged out France’s own first lady, Carla Bruni Sarkozy, as well as, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Spain and French Socialist leader Segolene Royal, to win the prize. The magazine said it focused on bold style this year, noting, “Mrs. Obama resembles no one else. Her style is unique, and she encourages young designers.” Elle also praised Obama for adding a new item to the classic first lady’s wardrobe: the cardigan sweater. “She has succeeded in imposing the waisted cardigan as official dress.”
Obama wasn’t the only American to garner accolades from the French high-fashion crowd. Actress Scarlett Johansson won the “Bombshell” category.
