New Video: Sade Is A Soldier Of Love

Today Sade premiered the Sophie Muller-directed music video for “Soldier of Love,” the lead single from their upcoming album of the same title. Peek Under the Hood for a look at the video.

The video kicks off promotion for the group’s first new album in eight years!!!

Sade reunited in 2008 at Peter Gabriel’s Real World studio for the very first time after wrapping the Lover’s Rock tour in 2001. In a series of fortnightly recording sessions, they sketched out materials for a new album which, they all felt, was probably their most ambitious to date.

“I never want to repeat myself,” lead singer Helen Folasade Adu says. “And that becomes a more interesting challenge for us the longer we carry on together.”

“Soldier of Love” arrives in U.S. stores February 8th.
