“When Barack won the nomination, I just started bawling,” confesses Tyra. “I started calling all these people, and everybody was talking to me like I was crazy. They’re like, ‘Well, he hasn’t won yet,’ but I’m like, ‘Yes, he has, because he’s gotten this far.’ I think he gives everybody so much hope. What gives me tears is if Barack Obama wins, kids are going to say a black man can be President too.”

I love Tyra…I agree with what she said, I felt so proud when Obama won!

This man represents something that our ancestors fought, blead, and died for, slavery, the civilrights movement, have all lead up to this one moment in history. When he becomes president america will finally represent true equality. He will have achieved something that our fourfathers built the foundation for.
