The American Atheists group have put Money Mitt all the way on blast with a billboard that states facts regarding his Mormon faith.

Via The Raw Story:

The group American Atheists have purchased a billboard to highlight controversial aspects of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s religious faith. The mobile billboard in Boca Raton, Florida states: “No Blacks Allowed (until 1978). No Gays Allowed. Shame on Mormonism.” The billboard will follow Romney for several days after Monday’s final presidential debate.

The Mormon Church, officially known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, prohibited black men from joining the priesthood until 1978. The church believed Africans were the descendents of Cain, who murdered his brother Abel according to the Book of Genesis. “The American population is woefully unaware of the implications of a Mormon president because nobody is discussing the issue. Mormonism is a non-Abrahamic religion that has already used its money and might to impose its beliefs on the non-Mormon citizens of California,” said American Atheists president Dave Silverman, referring to Proposition 8. The Mormon Church was a major supporter of California’s Proposition 8, which banned same sex marriage in the state.

“We need to know if Mr. Romney supports these and other discriminatory actions of his church, for which he evangelized when it was still overtly racist, and to which he continues to donate millions of dollars. It’s a fair statement to say that all American citizens should be wary of a president who once proselytized, to Christians and Atheists alike, for a living,” Silverman added.
