Your third cousin, Kanye West, is planning on playing nice with the Paps come ‘09:

After a couple widely reportedly run-ins with paparazzi around the world, Kanye West is ready to make peace with the shutterbugs, and will do so beginning next year.

The producer recently told TMZ that he’s already made his New Year’s resolution, and it’s to make peace with photographers.

“I love you guys. That’s my New Year’s resolution. Me and the paparazzi,” he said.

In November, West was detained, then arrested following an incident with a photographer in Newcastle, England. During the altercation, he allegedly pushed a camera into a snapper’s face. However, he was released without charge.

Two months prior, the rapper was arrested in a similar incident, but this time it was at Los Angeles’ LAX airport. West and his assistant were charged with felony vandalism, after smashing a paparazzo’s camera on the ground. Again, the charges were dropped.

In 2009, if West lives up to his resolution, he and the paparazzi should get along just fine.

Yeah, we get on this cat a lot a bit about his antics with the Paps, but truth be told, they are funny as hell. Don’t go getting all mature and what not on us, Yeezy. Keep the shenanigans coming.

I wish Ye was in a position to grieve properly. I think he is lashing out in a angry ways cuz he havent dealt wit his mom’s death all the way. Po Ye. I think he prolly realized that the Paps are what help to make him famous so he decided to fall back.

I don’t like how he broke off his engagement then suddenly became a designer. It’s as if he stole Alexis persona and style. Now we don’t hear anything about her, like he made her disappear to become her. I don’t know? What I do know is his fashions will end up in Marshall’s and Coles just like Dereon…sorry B.

I seen Kanye at the airport that day acting a fool… he was about to put his ish on the belt to be surveyed adn the guy kept snapping and irritating him, he just needs anger management – i probably wouldve acted the same way.

I use to be a fan of you until you changed into this SUPER DIVA type figure with more demands from people than anybody. You earn respect, you dont ask for it. Greatness is not something you yell out or have to say that you are because your fans and your music will do it for you.
Get over yourself Kanye. People keep yellin you need time to grieve and time to this, man, give me a break. Then what about the rest of the world who has suffered a lost like a mother or father. Did they all just break down and change. No, they realized that this is a part of life and moved on. PEOPLE, let me say again, PEOPLE, celebrities are still HUMAN and therefore, the same feelings people expect of you apply to them. Dont get beside urself.

If he needs help, then maybe he should go and get it. Something is going on with him internally and he is having a hard time dealing with it. Do I feel sorry for him. No. Why? I dont know him. Do I wish him well. Yes. Do you think anybody around the world is sitting around wondering how I am doing after my sister was shot point blank in the head by her boyfriend? NO. I have to take care of myself and he has to do the same.

Kanye please? just fall back and out of society for some time please. Focus on recuperating yourself, write some new music (not that Graduation, 808’s) stuff,sing if you want, but not with vocoder, write some college dropout material, Design your clothes, get a haircut, Go to therapy, fall back from the public eye for a little bit, then you’ll have good success and happiness. I’m hoping this happens, but if he stays in the public eye for too long, he already went crazy , so they’re going to throw him in jail if he doesnt stop. Good Luck Ye
