Soul for Real

Three members of Soul For Real have been arrested on identity theft:

Duluth, Georgia Police told S2S that Brian Dalyrimple will be indicted on 145 counts of aggravated identity fraud. A laundry list of related charges, like forgery and aggravated bank fraud (just to name a few!), will be part of the indictment. Police say that Brian’s brothers (and fellow group members), Jason Dalyrimple and Andre Dalyrimple, will be indicted for their involvement in the case too. However, police did not say what specific role they played in the fraud. Brian, 33, was arrested on suspicion of identity fraud earlier this month. He’d been running from Duluth PD with his infant son since February. Police finally caught him in North Carolina, where he was taken into custody. Cops became alarmed when someone from California called Duluth PD saying they’d lost $12,000 due to fraudulent purchases. The victim told police that information had been used at a bank in Georgia to open a checking and credit account. Police tracked the fraudulent purchases to two apartments in the same Georgia complex, both of which Brian was renting under false identities. A police search of one apartment turned up a crop of driver’s licenses from different states in different names. “[We also found] a multitude of fraudulently obtained credit cards,” said Major Woodruff of Duluth PD, “documents for bank loans, checking and savings accounts in fraudulent names, account and routing numbers belonging to legitimate accounts and documents containing identifying information of many individuals.” Duluth Police also said that Brian was using false identities to lease at least four other apartments. Laborah Crawford (Brian’s baby mama) was arrested in connection with the same identity fraud case immediately following the search. She is currently being held in Gwinnett County Jail and hasn’t been cooperating with police for further investigation. Brian’s 10-month old son was put in his grandmother’s care after Laborah was arrested. Police told WSBTV.com that Brian later took his son from a daycare center one afternoon after the child had been dropped off. The baby has now been safely returned to his grandmother. It’s estimated that the victims (260 people and eight banks) have lost as much as $1,000,000 because of the fraud.

When the checks stop coming in people tend to do crazy things, but these dudes were on some criminal sh*t, a milli?. We might not be seeing them for even more years now. SMH

When the money stops rolling in…just get a regular job; like regular people. You were famous, but you’re not anymore…so become a mechanic. You won’t have a million fans or a lot of money, but at least you’ll have a respectable income and a cool story about how you spent your youth. It seems like they were still trying to live the lifestyle or something…

How did they set up all of those accounts? They give me hell when I setup new accounts or cash a check by walking in the bank and not depositing it in my acct. Soon they will be asking for DNA samples to setup a checking account.

OMG! I never would’ve thought they would’ve turned out like this. $1,000,000.?? That’s almost a B-Madoff move. They are definitely going to do the time for it, to discourage other people from committing the same crimes. This is so sad. The guy then goes on the run with his infant son?

This person was a parent?? OMG ! WTF! Parents don;t do their kids like this…..

I didn’t really care for all their music, they had a couple nice songs, but damn, how come they just didn’t get a job or start some businesses, before playing themselves over a few dollars? So they wouldn’t have to perpetrate… Oh well, more sisters and brothers in the system….. 😦

People, I divided $100,000 by 260(people), and it came up to $384.62– that’s approximately how much money each person lost. I mean damn, if you’re gonna get paid, get paid.

  • jandsmama

    Lala,
    You are hilarious!
Ah the powers of a one hit wonder…got these fools feinin’ for more and more crap…

  • JC o' B'klyn

And about $33,333 is what each of ’em probably got from $100,000 when they divided amongst themselves.

    SMH.

Correction: i thought they stole $100,000, instead it was $100,000, not bad after all.lol

    ROGISH ASS!

I don’t have sympathy for them, including the fool who took his son from day care and went on the run. He should of left that child in a safe place with the grandmother instead of placing his child in harms way.

Stealing the identity of over 260 people is just plain wrong. They should of enrolled in school and found employment, not go on shopping sprees at someone elses expense. Now they are facing hard time.
