South Carolina Stand-Up!

By the look of things, Barack Obama has New Hampshire on lock:

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in New Hampshire shows Barack Obama earning 39% of the vote while Hillary Clinton attracts 27%. The survey was conducted on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. All interviews were conducted after the Iowa caucuses and before last night’s debate.

After we win in New Hampshire, we have to make sure the Black churches in South Carolina don’t sell-out by taking dirty Clinton money like Magic Johnson.

Ireland’s Betting on Barack

Barack Obama Superman

Even the Irish know what’s up:

Ireland’s largest bookmaker, Paddy Power, is today claiming that the Democratic Nomination race is well and truly over and are already paying out on Barack Obama to be the successful Democratic nominee. The early payout signals a massive EUR50,000 ($75,000) payday to lucky punters who backed Obama over the recent number of weeks at various odds ranging from 4/1 to 4/9.

The unexpected decision by the Irish bookmaking firm comes almost a week after the Iowa primary election and just a day before the New Hampshire primary election where Barack is now the odds on favourite at 1/12 to demolish his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

The New Hampshire numbers are in and Barack leads with 41%, Hilary is second with 28%, and Russell Simmon’s yoga buddy John Edwards had a solid 19%.

Newsweek Magazine on Obama’s win in Iowa Thursday night:

With his victory tonight, Barack Obama is now the strong favorite to be the Democratic nominee for president. The only one who can stop Obama from making history is Obama.

The Clinton establishment and their supporters are buying off Black churches in South Carolina for support like they did Magic Johnson. We have to make it rain on these hoes in S.C. in two weeks.

Hillary gets a big ‘hoe sit down’ from Bossip!!!!

Is Magic Johnson a HO?

We actually liked Magic before this sh*t. We thought it was suspect when we saw a video of Magic explaining why he is supporting Hillary Clinton.

Well, it was about the stacks, Magic is in talks for a $750 investment fund with a close Clinton supporter, Ron Burkle. Ron Burkle also owns some of Sean Jean so don’t expect Diddy to be supporting Obama anytime soon.

Barack Obama has taken a clear lead in Iowa, the first democratic primary state in the 08′ presidential election. Hillary Clinton is losing ground fast with that “tired” old school political game. Obama also announced he has over $100 million in stacks behind his campaign.

We are feelin’ Ron Paul too but that nicca realistically doesn’t have a shot.

Bill Cosby and Beanie Sigel March in Philly

Bill Cosby is promoting his new book on Black victimology and recently marched against violence in Philly with Beanie Sigel.

Any thoughts on Bill Cosby as a leader???

Bill Clinton recently attacked Barack Obama for his lack of experience but Obama went right back at him on the issue:

“And I’ve been involved in government for over a decade”

We think Bill Clinton AKA lying slick willy needs to fall the fu*k back. The Bush’s and Clinton’s have been running things for over 20 years. It’s time to fall back.

I’m Not Racist, I Have Black Friends

That trailer park mullet wearing racist, Duane Dog Chapman, hit up a holiday giveaway over the weekend with some local community leaders. “Reverend” Jesse Lee Peterson said the following about the meeting:

Chapman handed out toys to dozens of children and signed copies of his book “You Can Run But You Can’t Hide,” said Ermias Alemayehu of the conservative Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny.

“We don’t condone racial slurs, but upon hearing Dog’s apology and after meeting with him and his family, we don’t believe he’s a racist. We also believe that Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman sincerely wants to make amends to the black community, and deserves a second chance,” BOND founder the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson said in a statement.

Dog is really getting his ho stroll on to get back in the air. That mullet is a clear giveway, that nicca is a racist and can’t be changed with a few meetings with some punk leaders and giving out a few toys.

Feds Target Al Sharpton’s Finances

Posted by Bossip Staff

foxybrownalsharpton8.jpg

The Feds got it poppin’ yesterday and raided Rev. Al Sharpton’s offices. According to reports:

Teams of federal agents swooped down on up to 10 close associates of the Rev. Al Sharpton Wednesday, demanding the flamboyant clergyman’s financial records since 2001. Sharpton’s former chief of staff said he was roused at his Harlem home about 6:30 a.m. by two FBI agents who handed him a subpoena to bring the records to a federal grand jury the day after Christmas.

Several employees of Sharpton’s National Action Network also got wakeup subpoenas to testify before the Brooklyn panel, the rabble-rousing reverend’s lawyer said.

The FBI and IRS are investigating whether Sharpton improperly misstated the amount of money he raised during his 2004 White House run to illegally obtain federal matching funds, a source familiar with the probe said. Sharpton, although forced to return $100,000 in matching taxpayer funds after an investigation two years ago, denied any wrongdoing at the time.

The feds are also looking into allegations of tax fraud, including whether Sharpton commingled funds from his nonprofit National Action Network with several of his for-profit ventures, the source said.

It’s time for Al to cut that “Big Red” conk off and get a real job. Getting rich off of old civil rights game is not where it’s at.

Ne-Yo Obama

Kerry Washington and Nick Cannon were among the people to come out to support Barack Obama at the Gibson Amphitheater Amphitheater Monday in Los Angeles where Ne-Yo performed. Even the smoked out dude from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle came out to support Barack.

A Bossip reader who was in the audience mentioned that Ne-Yo gave a tremendous performance, and it is very clear why Chester Kellz booted him off the Double Up tour.

Oprah Barack Obama

Oprah Winfrey spoke Saturday at a campaign rally for Barack Obama in Iowa:

“This is very, very personal. I’m here because of my personal conviction about Barack Obama and what I know he can do for America. For the very first time in my life, I feel compelled to stand up and speak out for the man who I believe has a new vision for America. I understand the difference between a book club and free refrigerators. I understand the difference between that and this critical moment in our nation’s history. I believe that Barack Obama will bring statesmanship to the White House. I believe that he will lead with strength, conviction, honor and compassion.”

Ho Sit Down: Over the Hill Civil Rights Gang Keep Dissin’ Barack

Posted by Bossip Staff

Andrew Young Barack Obama

Now is when the political thuggin begins. Someone needs to tell the old “over the hill” civil rights gang their time is up, that old sh*t is not working. Former Atlanta mayor Andrew Young and Hilary Clinton’s camp have some things to say about our man Barack Obama:

“It is not a matter of being inexperienced,” Young told an Atlanta crowd this fall. “It is a matter of being young. There is a certain matter of maturity … You have to have a protective network around you… Leadership requires suffering. And I would like to see Barack’s children get a little older, see, because they’re going to pick on them.”

“To put a brother in there by himself is to set him up for crucifixion.” He also joked that author Toni Morrison may have been on to something when she referred to former President Bill Clinton as the “first black president.”

“Bill (Clinton) is every bit as black as Barack,” he said. “He has probably gone out with more black women than Barack.”

Young’s remarks come as Obama is battling with Hillary for support in the black community. Rev. Jesse Jackson, who had endorsed Obama, has been critical of the presidential candidate in recent weeks. Rev. Al Sharpton has said that he has not decided if he will support Obama.

An advisor from Hilary Clinton Camp states:

“Senator Obama is a fabulous orator, but we need more than words. We don’t need someone who says one thing and does another, somebody who talks a good game but doesn’t have the courage of their convictions. And on issue after issue, Senator Obama says one thing and does another.”

Al Sharpton, Messy Jesse Jackson, and Andrew Young get a big, Ho Sit Down! It’s 2007, you’re time is up!

Barack Obama Cornell West

Barack Obama packed the Apollo Theater in Harlem last night and here are a few quotes from his speech:

“Telling the American people what we think they want to hear instead of what they need to hear just won’t do” in this election, Obama said at the historic theater, just down the street from Bill Clinton’s office.

“I’m not running because I’m trying to fulfill some long-held plans. I’m not running because I somehow think this is owed to me. I never expected to be here. Avoiding answering tough questions because we’re worried they might not be popular just won’t do. Poll-testing positions because we’re worried about what Mitt [Romney] or Rudy [Giuliani] might say about this just won’t do.” Continue »
