Things got pretty bad for August after his collapse, but he’s now doing much better and even sharing pics from his hospital bed…

August Alsina Shares Photo From Hospital Bed Following 3-Day Coma

Earlier this week, R&B new comer August Alsina was hospitalized after collapsing off of the stage and hitting his head half way through his performance during an NYC concert stop on his Testimony Live tour.

It was soon revealed that August had suffered multiple seizures following the fall, with doctors confirming that no drugs were found in his system, and was immediately rushed to the ICU of an undisclosed New York hospital where he was being treated for exhaustion and dehydration. Although several people close to August, including his mother, his bodyguard, his DJ, his barber and his tourmate Teyana Taylor all posted messages to reassure fans that he was in recovery, many feared that things were worse than they seemed as August himself had gone silent on social media and still remained hospitalized 3 days after the incident.

His fellow R&B crooner and close friend Chris Brown also added to the speculation that Augusts’ fall was more serious than initially reported with this tweet yesterday…

..but it was August himself who confirmed just how bad things had gotten when he finally sent a telling message and photo to his fans earlier today. Hit the flip to see the semi-graphic hospital photo and caption from August when he wasn’t doing so well, along with the most recent pics of him in much better shape.

August shared this photo to give fans an update on his condition and shoutout his cousin/bestfriend for sticking by his side while he was down and out.

But his bodyguard also shared a photo showing a much healthier looking August awake, smiling and recovering in the hospital. Check out those pics next.

We will continue to keep August, his family and his entire team in our prayers and wish him a speedy recovery back to health!
