The rapper extraordinaire has never been too shy about his come-up as a kid from Stone Mountain, GA to the movie studios of Hollyweird but many people still don’t know too much about him outside of his professional life.

Donald Glover was born in Edwards Air Force Base, California and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. His father is a retired postal worker and his mother is a retired daycare provider.

Donald was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness which always made him feel “different” as a kid growing up in the South.

After a web-based campaign to be the first Black ‘Spiderman’ in the theatrical release, the rapper was recently offered the role in the animated series.
