Did Akon Peform In A Bubble To Avoid Contracting Ebola In Africa???

Akon has been getting blasted on social media as of late after pictures surfaced of him crowd surfing during a concert in a bubble. Many people speculated that the singer who was in Africa at the time, did so to avoid contracting Ebola.

The New York Daily News reports:

As parts of Africa battle a grave Ebola crisis, rapper Akon performed in Democratic Republic of Congo — inside of a giant hamster ball.

Twitter users have accused the hip hop star of donning the bubble during Sunday’s concert in Goma as a means of protecting himself from the virus that’s killed more than 3,000 people.

But wait just a minute, did he really recently perform in a bubble??? And did he do so for fear of contracting the deadly virus????

While it is true that he did indeed perform in a bubble, Akon ranted about how he would NEVER isolate himself from his people in fear of getting sick.

He then noted that he’s been getting his lil bubble on for years.
