15 People Who Had To Apologize For Their Jokes
Jokes are funny. At least they’re supposed to be. But when they cross the line (or aren’t very funny), the people making the jokes end up having to apologize, it can get embarrassing. These jokes were over the limit and the jokesters had to ask forgiveness.
Giuliana Rancic – She made a joke about Zendaya’s hair smelling like sticky icky. She had to apologize after getting dragged.
Karrueche –She read a teleprompter joke about Blue Ivy’s hair and the entire BET had to apologize.
Justin Bieber – He apologized for an early video of him dropping slurs and making insensitive jokes.
Daniel Tosh – He apologized for his assault jokes in a comedy club that caused an uproar.
Gilbert Gottfried – He made some 9/11 jokes on Twitter and lost his gig as the Aflac duck.
Larry Wilmore – He made a joke about Women of color, calling them bossy. Then he apologized the next night on his show.
Dane Cook – He apologized for this joke about the Colorado Dark Knight movie shooting victims”So I heard that the guy came into the theater about 25 minutes into the movie…And I don’t know if you’ve seen the movie, but the movie is pretty much a piece of crap – yeah, spoiler alert. I know that if none of that would have happened, pretty sure that somebody in that theater, about 25 minutes in, realizing it was a piece of crap, was probably like ‘Ugh, shoot me.'”
Jon Stewart – He made a joke about not voting and apologized if it sent the wrong message.
Lena Dunham – She made a joke about predators that she had to apologize for later.
Naya Rivera – She made a joke about White people showering and people of color not…she apologized because it didn’t go over well at all.
Jonah Hill – He used a slur towards a paparazzi photographer and apologized for it on a Late Show.
Orlando Jones – He made an off-color joke about Sleepy Hollow and assaulting one of the main characters. He wrote a long, heartfelt apology about it.
Sony Execs – Their emails leaked some really off-color racist jokes and they had to apologize.
Snoop – He apologized for his over-the-top jokes about Iggy Azalea after T.I. gave him a call.
