Black UVA Student Martese Johnson Beat By Cops Outside Of Pub
Inequality doesn’t stop just because you have entered a prestigious University, if anything you are seen more as threat because an educated negro is an act of defiance in the deepest and darkest flesh.
Early this morning UVA Student Martese Johnson was reportedly beaten by Virginia ABC Law enforcement outside of the Trinity Irish Pub on University Ave. in Charlottesville, Virginia. The ABC Officers, or Alcoholic Beverage Control officers were seen by the popular college bar keeping a look out for belligerent revelers following the St. Patrick’s Day festivities around the campus.
Martese, an Honor Committee student and member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, was seen outside the pub but denied entry because he allegedly provided a fake ID to security. After being denied entry, he was reportedly flung to the ground by ABC officers and sustained numerous injuries to his head and face. Sources at the scene said Martese did not resist arrest or questioning by the ABC officers.
One source reached out exclusively to BOSSIP and says that Martese Johnson was cooperating with police when he was brutally beaten until he was bloody and hurled to the ground by the officers for allegedly being in possession of a fake ID.
“Everyone here has a fake ID, it’s really no big deal. We definitely don’t get beaten by the cops for getting caught with one either. We were all in shock.”
The source at UVA adds that the pub has no history of racial bias and the ABC police that night were on high vigilance because of the debauchery that usually follows St. Patrick’s Day drinking.
A video of the violent arrest has surfaced:
Martese laid on the ground bleeding and crying as the officers pinned him down on the dirty cement and twisted his arm to prevent him from getting adequate medical attention. UVA students pleaded with officers to lift Martese from the ground but were pushed away, and some were even handcuffed and threatened with possible arrest if they did not leave the scene.
Martese later received 10 stitches for his injuries to the head and face following the brutality from the officers.
One of the last tweets from Martese illustrated his love for the university:
