Taraji P. Henson might just have spilled the beans on two new castings on “Empire.”
Fresh off winning the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series, the actress dished on a potential new twist on the show; the addition of Cookie’s parents.
According to Taraji she’s already picked out her fictitious mother and father and they’re both black icons.
One is a legendary Motown songstress and led one of the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time….
while the other is a Emmy nominated actor and former heartthrob who costarred alongside the aforementioned singer in a 70s film.

Via US Weekly:
My wish would be for Diana Ross and Billy Dee Williams to play my parents,” the Date Night actress revealed. “I have no idea [who it will be]. I [also] want Oprah too — I want the world!” she added, laughing. “I want everyone on the show — Bill, Hillary [Clinton] — come on! Everybody!”
