As Lil Wayne’s alleged beef with Birdman continues to play out in the media, we asked Karrine Steffans – who has spent a lot of time around both men – about the situation and her take on it.
The famed author told us that she is terrified for Wayne after his tour bus got shot up by Young Thug’s former road manager. Karrine then shared her beliefs that the terms of Lil Wayne’s contract involves a lot of personal secrets that neither men want out in the public.
During the conversation Karrine also reveals that Lil Wayne once told her how Birdman gets a giant chunk of his record sales, adding he felt stifled in his situation with Cash Money.
