Karrueche Parties At DSTRKT Nightclub After Discrimination Protests
We reported this week that a group of British Black women were denied entry into exclusive nightclub DSTRKT in London for reportedly being ‘too dark’ and ‘too fat’ to be seen in the popular club.
One of the ladies says the promoter went to the door girl and asked why she wasn’t letting them in but was told, ‘I don’t think they’re good looking enough’ and later in an text message exchange with the DSTRKT promoter, the group of women were later informed that they were rejected at the door because one of the girls was “too dark” and another was “overweight.”
Famous pretty person Karrueche Tran was spotted at the racist club earlier this week and was mobbed by protesters for her lack of support for Black women…
Fans were clearly not happy that the model showed up despite the club’s discriminatory antics:
Kae told BBC Newsbeat that the recent reports about the club were unfortunate but continued her own event as planned. The model says “It’s unfortunate to hear about something like that, especially something that I’m part of. I’m half African-American too. I have god-sisters and family who have darker skin as well.”
Karrueche added: “I don’t support any sort of discrimination. I love people for who they are.”
So why would you choose to patron this particular club that has a history of rejecting people who like your friends, men you date and people who support you?? Come on Kae!
