Charlie Sheen Reveals His HIV Positive Status On “Today” With Matt Lauer
Charlie Sheen has revealed to the world that his is indeed HIV positive this morning on “Today” with Matt Lauer.
Sheen says that he’s known about his diagnosis for about 4 years, but in sharing his medical info with friends and lovers, he’s faced numerous blackmail attempts. In his words he needed to “put a stop to this onslaught of attacks and untruths.”
Matt Lauer asked Charlie specifically if he had been paying people for all these years and Sheen answered directly: “Not after today I’m not! I release myself from this prison today.”

The actor admitted that he’s paid MILLIONS to several people including a prostitute who snapped photos of his HIV meds and threatened to leak the info into the media.
Says Sheen: “What people forget is that’s money they’re taking from my children,” he said, explaining, “I’ve got five kids and one grandkid.”
