“Power” Actress In Italy’s Capital With Tisha Campbell And Angela Bassett
It’s been a hell of a year for Tyler Perry actress Tasha Smith.
She split from “professional husband” Keith Douglas after both sides leveled accusations of cheating, stealing, addiction and conniving. And adding insult to injury, a judge ordered Smith to pay Douglas $7,000 a month on top of a $50,000 lump sum.
It wasn’t all doom and gloom, with an L.A. judge ordering the troubled marriage annulled last week, due to “fraud,” because her ex never told her he’d been previously married five times.
BOSSIP can reveal the “Why Did I Get Married” actress has put the past year’s problems behind her, jetting to Italy with pals Angela Bassett and Tisha Campbell for a girls-only vacay.

Smith posted pictures of herself glowing while showing off the sights in Tuscany, Florence and later, Rome. And she couldn’t contain her delight when her bestie Campbell joined her in the Italian capital city.
“Omg! I just got a gift from God! My best friend @tishacampbellmartin was delivered to me in #Rome with #love #godisgood #lifeisgood #bestie #forever,” Smith wrote on Instagram earlier today.
Smith also shared pics from a Roman Christmas market, the Vatican and the famous Trevi Fountain.
The girls trip couldn’t have come at a better time, as she recovers from her short nuptials to Douglas.
A source close to the situation characterized Douglas as a gold-digging philanderer who berated Smith when she couldn’t get pregnant, spent her money freely on a set of Rolexes, rare coins and solid gold pieces and cheated on her with his “assistant.”
But Douglas’ daughter, Asia, told BOSSIP that her dad helped take Smith’s career to new heights while their former stepmother liked to drink and verbally attack Douglas and nursed a secret attraction to other women.
Douglas’ son, Rory, didn’t respond to BOSSIP’s request for comment.
