According to E!News reports:
Beyoncé & Jay Z threw their daughter a fairy-themed birthday party on Saturday, two days after she turned 4.
The bash was held at a private residence and was attended by fewer than 50 people, including the R&B singer’s Destiny’s Child BFF Kelly Rowland and rocker Chris Martin, a source told E! News exclusively.
The party featured a big birthday cake, ice cream, lots of more food and balloons, plus an entertainer who made balloon animals. There were also areas for kids to play with Barbies, Play-Doh and LEGOs, the source said. While the children played away, Bey and Jay spent much time laughing and acting affectionate towards one another.Last year, Beyoncé & Jay Z celebrated Blue’s third birthday with a kids’ party as well, one that featured a big silver “3” balloon and ice sculpture that read, “Happy Birthday Blue.”
For their little girl’s second birthday, the family flew to Miami and rented out the local zoo.
Happy Belated Birthday Blue! Sounds like a good time.
In a recent interview with E! News Grandma Tina Knowles spoke about how Blue Ivy is Bey’s best friend:
“She’s with her parents seven days a week and, you know, that’s such a blessing that she can be with her parents all the time,” Tina said. “Sometimes she thinks she’s a friend more than the kid.”
Hopefully they still lay down some ground rules bc sometimes those situations where the kids think the parents are their friends start to go all bad as the kids become more strong willed about what they’re trying to do.
