Wendy Raquel Robinson Dishes On “Here We Go Again” & Reality TV

After chatting with BOSSIP’s “Don’t Be Scared” podcast about her new TV One show “Here We Go Again”, Wendy Raquel Robinson gave some insight on reality TV.

When David, Danni and Jah asked the 48-year-old “The Game” and “The Steve Harvey Show” actress her opinion on reality television she revealed her ties to a few popular unscripted stars.
On reality TV stars becoming actors:

“I’m not offended if they take the craft seriously. Tami Roman and I we go way back from doing plays together, she’s on Basketball Wives, she’s doing a helluva job with that and she’s also a trained actress. Look at NeNe, she’s been doing Broadway. I’m jealous of that. [Laughs] If they take the craft seriously and respect the process, let’s get it. Let’s play.”

On Kim Fields going from acting to reality TV:

“Kim Fields and I go back to when were like 10-years-old. I understand sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. She wants to stay relevant and she wants to be out there and she chose that vehicle.”

She also broke the news that she was one of the people considered to possibly replace Claudia Jordan on “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.”

“Believe it or not, about a year ago my agent’s like ‘They reached out, they didn’t say the name but they were looking for a new series regular for a reality show set in Atlanta. They were looking for big energy with I guess replacing Claudia.”
