Black Woman Develops App To Eliminate Discriminatory Hiring In Tech
Stephanie Lampkin, the founder of Bleendor, will change the way tech companies screen their employess forever. Blendoor is a blind recruiting app that helps tech companies hire, based on merit alone, according to their homepage. There, you can also look for and apply for jobs. The site is in it’s beta stage, but the concept is so dense that word of it spread like wildfire.
According to The Root, Lampkin created the app after feelings of not being taken seriously in tech, despite graduating from Standford with an engineering degree and an MBA from MIT Sloan.
Kudos to this sister!
