Kyrie Wants To Make Sure Baby Mama Doesn’t Use Child Support To Splash Out On Jewelry And Purses

Kyrie Irving’s plan to stop his baby mama from spending his child support on shoes and bags has backfired – and the woman is now calling on the courts to punish him.

Last month, Kyrie asked a judge in Tarrant County, Tx. to throw out he and baby mama Andrea Wilson’s child support and custody settlement in favor of a new paternity agreement he drafted that would give him a say about how his baby daughter Azurie’s child support is spent.

He may have been worried that Andrea would spend the $4,500 in monthly support on herself instead of their nearly five-month-old baby, and claimed in his court filing that the current child support agreement violates Texas state law and would damage his ability to parent the girl.

But Andrea said in court papers that they both signed the settlement and it’s final, and Kyrie is abusing the courts with his “frivolous” motion that she said was “brought in bad faith and/or brought for the purpose of harassment, causing unnecessary delay, needlessly increasing the cost of litigation, and is contrary to the well-settled Texas law,” according to Andrea’s court papers filed April 8.

Andrea said she can’t believe he’s trying to throw out the agreement when his own lawyers drew it up. She wants a judge to force Kyrie to pay a penalty as punishment, and she wants him to pay her lawyer fees.

A judge is set to hear their case this week.
