Jennifer Aniston Crowned 'People's' "Most Beautiful"
Jennifer Aniston Named People’s “Most Beautiful”… Who Else Made The List?
Jennifer Aniston Is People Magazine’s “Most Beautiful” This Year
Every year People Magazine crowns a “Most Beautiful” and we pretty much NEVER agree, unless it’s Lupita Nyong’o, Beyoncé or Halle Berry. Matter fact we are STILL waiting on Kerry Washington to get her just due. This year THEY picked Jennifer Aniston for the cover and as you can probably guess we are underwhelmed. However, there are a few women of color who also made their list and we thought that was worth some recognition. Hit the flip to find out which beautiful black, Asian and Latina women got their props from People!

Keke Palmer
The Scream Queens star is a force to be reckoned with – not only when it comes to her successful acting and singing careers, but also with her inherent need to voice her opinion, particularly when it involves talk of her sexuality. “I don’t feel the need to define nothin’ to nobody, because I’m always changing. Why say that I’m this or that when I might not be tomorrow?” she tells PEOPLE of her thoughts on labels. “I’m gonna follow my own feelings and my own heart.”
Selena Gomez
What makes the “Same Old Love” singer beautiful? Aside from the obvious, Gomez is also refreshingly honest – especially when it comes to body image and self-confidence, issues only a handful of stars have addressed in the past. “It hurt my feelings because I never experienced that before, but I didn’t want [that] to be my story,” Gomez tells InStyle UK of being the target of body shaming. “So I said, ‘I don’t care what you think’ … I’m learning that you can be comfortable and still look beautiful.'”
Meagan Good
She’s been an on-screen regular since the tender age of four and has made quite a name for herself in the 30 years since. Despite starring in a slew of different roles in TV and film, Good reveals one thing that has remained constant in her life: Her feelings of self-worth. “I’ve always had that kind of spirit where I love me, and I accept me, and I feel beautiful, and I feel sexy,” she tells MIMI. “And I’ve felt that from a very young age.”
Christina Milian
Despite being in the entertainment industry for well over a decade and boasting plenty of acclaim through the years, the triple threat (she’s a singer, actress and executive producer on her family’s reality show, Christina Milian Turned Up) is quick to reveal that her self-confidence doesn’t come without hard work; in fact, the star credits her rigorous workout routine. “You don’t have to be like anyone else,” she tells Shape. “We’re all human, we have our flaws and it’s OK. Working out is probably one of the best things you can do. It can be in the form of walking and talking to somebody. I find when I’m a little down on myself it feels good to exercise.”
People also honored the following stars for “redefining Hollywood’s standard of beauty”
Mindy Kaling
Mindy Kaling is a strong, hilarious, badass woman, who is unafraid of doing what she wants or wearing what she wants – and she’s really tired of being called “brave” for being confident even though she’s not white and not a size zero. “The way they talk about it, [it’s] like, ‘She’s a pioneer because she’s glued to her sofa,’” she joked during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. “Some people were pretty mean about it, but then some people were like, ‘She’s just so courageous!’ Aren’t surgeons courageous?”
Viola Davis
Simply by playing the complicated, mesmerizing and, yes, sexy Annalise Keating on How to Get Away with Murder, Viola Davis has been able to take a stand against the idea that only a certain type of woman is desirable. “We’ve been fed a whole slew of lies about women,” Davis told Elle. By TV standards, “if you are anywhere above a size 2, you’re not having sex. You don’t have sexual thoughts. You may not even have a vagina. And if you’re of a certain age, you’re off the table.” And for the record, we think she’s got plenty of “classic beauty” as well.

Zendaya
She’s fearless with her fashion and beauty choices – and isn’t afraid to defend herself against people who want to stereotype her because of it – and she’s using her platform to inspire other African-American girls to embrace their identity as well. “After my Oscar moment, Mattel contacted us,” she told W magazine. “They specifically wanted to make a Barbie that looked like me, in my exact outfit from the Oscars. I was so excited that Barbie wanted to diversify their brand. Now all little girls can have a Barbie that looks like them.”
Serena Williams
In case you ever doubted that strong could be sexy (and high fashion!) allow Serena Williams and her abs to educate you. In the meantime, Williams will simply focus on her game and swerving on her haters.
Gina Rodriguez
The Jane the Virgin star isn’t interested in being perfect – she’s more concered with being happy. “I work in an industry where I am constantly being told, ‘You’re not skinny enough. You’re not tall enough. You’re not ethnic enough.’ Being constantly told that you are not enough can wear down any woman – any person, period,” Rodriguez told PEOPLE. “I have to remember that this is a game. And if the game says I should be looking like this, then I just don’t play that role. And that’s okay.”
We also noticed a few folks of color in the video included in Jennifer Aniston’s cover story so we’ll include them as well…
