Award-winning actor Don Cheadle (of the money-minting Iron Man movies and the upcoming “experimental anti-biopic” about Miles Davis) is flipping what the listing calls an “Emotional custom home” he owns in the Oxford Triangle neighborhood of Venice, a reliable tipster tells us.

Cheadle purchased the house in 2014 for $894,000; the customizing came later, transforming the residence into something totally unrecognizable from the house that he bought.

The reimagined place features a rooftop deck (“w/room for future outdoor kitchen”), 10-foot-tall ceilings, and a large kitchen with an island and a farmhouse sink. The master bedroom is located on the second floor of the house, and holds a walk-in closet, and, in the en-suite master bathroom, a giant bathtub. The eco-friendly house is “solar ready” and equipped with radiant heating.

The actor has lived in Santa Monica for almost a decade, so clearly he’s got a thing for coastal living. This Venice house is listed for $2.45 million.
