True or false???
Did Lupe Fiasco Diss Drake Over #Views???
Lupe Fiasco caught some flack from Drake fans last night after he seemingly took a shot at the OVO rapper’s new project.
On Wednesday Lupe posted (and deleted) a line from Drake’s “5 A.M. in Toronto”; “I started a new race, its funny when you think a n*** blew up after Lupe.”
And while several people thought he was just reciting a Drake lyric, others took it as a shot at the 6 God.
What do YOU think???
Is Lupe hating or is that just a coincidence???
Hit the flip for the possible real reason behind the tweet.
Coincidentally Drake’s “Views” albums moves through the seasons, JUST like Lupe’s 2015 project “Tetsuo & Youth.”
Via The Fader:
Spread across four season-themed interludes, Lupe takes on the dual persona of inmate and corrections officer on “Prisoner 1 & 2,” pokes at political binaries on “Little Death,” and reduces the spectrum of life—birth to death—to a level in a video game on “Adoration of the Magi.”
It’s as heavy as anything he’s dropped before, but with a sensitivity and transparency he’d previously risked losing.
According to Lupe fans, Drake completely jacked Lupe’s concept from #Views and they’re none too pleased.
SMH…do YOU think Drake stole Lupe’s concept???
More from Lupe and reactions on the flip.
