Karrine Steffans Speaks On Her “Becky With The Good Hair” Article

Remember when we told you that Karrine Steffans penned that piece where she confessed to once hooking up with Jay Z and dubbed herself (and all other women) Becky with the good hair???

Well the estranged wife of Columbus Short recently called in to Roz & Mocha of Kiss 92.5 to further clarify what she meant.

On her hookup with Jay Z in the back of a car:

“That was forever ago, it was ages ago. Probably June 2000, [pre-Beyonce] yeah of course totally. […] We never talked about it because it just wasn’t important.”

On Beyonce ignoring the draggings of the “outed” Beckies:

“I think when it comes to Beyonce she’s kinda busy so maybe that’s why. No one ever attacks men for their sexual relationship with women yet attack those same women for their sexual relationships with men and it’s wrong. Women have the right to govern their own bodies. […] Nobody will ever go after the man except for me.”

On being the Becky V.S. being the Beyonce:

“Honestly it’s something that I wanted to discuss because I’ve been married three times, I’ve been cheated on by all three husbands. I have been the other woman, sometimes unknowingly. They both have their perks to be honest.

If I’m the other woman I don’t have to worry about the responsibilities […] I don’t have that, I can just have the time I wanna have with him and then leave. I was also told all of the secrets, I knew all of the things the wives didn’t know because I had no responsibility. I more so knew who he was and sometimes it would last for years.”

On her words for Beyonce:

“Good job because one thing Beyonce has done is start a conversation.”
