“Feyonce” Blasts Beyonce For Suing Over Pop Star’s Trademark

The infamously private singer said she has invested considerably in creating, maintaining and promoting the goodwill associated with her name and trademarks … and “Feyonce” made her furious, because the company was infringing on her trademark and confusing her fans into thinking she endorsed the company and it’s products. Beyonce said “Feyonce’s” actions have caused her reputation harm and she demanded an injunction against the company from continuing to sell “Feyonce” items and order their website to be shut down along with all profits they illegally made by using her trademarks.

Then on July 14th, the people behind Feyonce headed to court blasting the pop star’s lawsuit over their company.

They admitted they run the website Feyonce and said Beyonce threatened them with legal letters prior to filing her lawsuit.

Feyonce is demanding the singer’s lawsuit be thrown out of court and her awarded nothing from her complaint. They say they did nothing wrong and any loss or damage done to Beyonce is her own fault not theirs. Further, they say they have a license to sell “Feyonce” merchandise and the singer cannot accuse them of copyright infringement.
