New Orleans Police Investigate The Shooting Deaths Of Toya Wright’s Two Brothers
We reported yesterday that reality star Toya Wright lost two of her beloved brothers to gun violence. Late Saturday night the following tweets from the New Orleans Police Department were sent out about a shooting on Pauger & N. Miro:
Toya was reportedly at an event when she heard of the tragic news and abruptly left the stage to be with family. The star later confirmed the news on her IG page:
New Orleans police are investigating the tragic murders according to NOLA reports:
The two young men were discovered shortly after midnight Saturday inside a car near the corner of Pauger and North Miro streets in the city’s 7th Ward. Both had been shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene, New Orleans police said. Less than an hour later, a man was shot to death in the Seabrook neighborhood of New Orleans East.
Police have not released any information about a motive or possible suspects in either fatal shooting.
Other media are identifying the brothers as Rudy and Josh Johnson.
Wright, a New Orleans native, is the ex-wife of Lil Wayne and is one of the stars of “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” on We TV. She is also a musician, author and owner of a Magazine Street boutique. She could not be immediately reached for comment.
