Whitewashing Again: Disney Is Replacing Mulan’s Male Lead With A White Guy And It’s Not Going Over Well

Disney has been on a roll with their live action movies as of late. Their most recent, The Jungle Book, was absolute fire and brought about box office success. Now they’re turning their eye to Mulan, the story about the Chinese woman who snuck into the army to defend her family. Well rumors are swirling that Disney is going to turn the movie into a story about a white guy saving her.

This has peeved people off, especially those who grew up having crushes on Li Shan. They are none too pleased and Disney deserves to give us answers. Take a look at the outrage.
