Does Common Want That Old Thang Back? (Serena Williams)
We can’t help but notice that Common seems to be getting finer with age. The rapper/actor has been making his local media rounds in NYC this week and at nearly ever stop has refuted the rumor that he and Regina Hall have been dating for the past year — instead insisting that the pair are just friends.
Is that because he is in the midst of reigniting with old flame Serena Williams?
According to Page Six reports, Williams and Common reconnected Tuesday night for a late date at RedFarm, a Chinese restaurant on the Upper West Side around 11pm.
“They came in just before the restaurant closed,” said a spy.
Hmmm a date that late, are they trying to creep or just celebrities seeking some privacy?
According to a source close to the stars — just friends catching up.
“They are, and have been, good friends.”
You may or may not recall — but Common admitted that when the pair broke up it was actually Serena’s doing. He told Meredith Vieira last year,
“It was kind of eventually a mutual breakup, but she initiated it. It’s OK, though . . . We’ve got a great understanding, and I care about her as a person.”
Well it’s nice that they’re mature enough to still be able to be friends.

Page Six is also reporting that Williams has been spending time with Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton as of late, and was especially flirty while attending Heidi Klum’s Halloween party with him on Monday.
