Nicole Murphy Scammer Sentenced To 22 Years In Prison
Troy Stratos, the repeat con artist who finessed Nicole Murphy out of $10 million was sentenced to 21 ²/₃ years in prison on Monday.
According to NYPost, Stratos was actually given three times the sentence his legal team requested.
Stratos pleaded guilty to scamming 10 of the $15 million Murphy received from her ex Eddie in their 2005 divorce. Stratos was Nicole’s childhood friend, and he told her that he had connections and friends in the middle east that could invest her new fortune in oil.
However, he actually put the cash into his own accounts and balled out on a lavish lifestyle and luxury items.
