Check Out The List Of Notable NAACP Award Nominees

It’s that time of year again, the NAACP Awards are right around corner and scheduled to air on TV ONE on February 11, 2017.

Today the list of nominees were released and DAMN it feels good to see the success that some of our favorite black actors, actresses, artists, writers and comedians have had in 2016.

Among the notables are Beyoncé and her sweet-and-sour Lemonade, Donald Glover and his breakout hit FX series ‘Atlanta’ and Chance The Rapper with his black boy joy mixtape Coloring Book.

Least we forget ‘Moonlight’, which is nominated for Outstanding Motion Picture, Issa Rae’s Twitter-melting HBO series ‘Insecure’ is up for Outstanding Comedy Series and this year’s youngest nominee ‘black-ish’ star Marsai Martin could go home with an award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a comedy series.

It’s black and it’s beautiful.
