Reality Star Accused Of Robbing Car Wash Employee

Mickey “Memphitz” Wright has gotten off easy in a case where cops said he pulled a gun out on a car wash employee he believed had stolen weed from him.

A judge Monday agreed to toss the producer and reality star’s felony armed robbery charges after prosecutors decided not to move forward with the case.

As recently as April, prosecutors offered Memphitz a plea deal of 10 years behind bars and 15 years of probation. But the former husband of Lil Wayne’s ex-wife Toya Wright rejected a plea deal and decided to take his chances at trial.

If he was convicted, he could have faced 20 years in prison.

Following the dismissal, Memphitz took to Instagram to gloat about his win.

“I’m Free!” he wrote on Instagram.

Cops said Memphitz pulled a gun on a car wash employee and accused the man of stealing marijuana out of his Jeep after he took it there to have it cleaned.

Memphitz was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to court papers.

We reached out to Memphitz’s attorney for comment.
