Rapper Mounts Name Change Bid

Kodak Black is headed back to court – but this time it’s for something that won’t land him in jail.

The Florida teen rapper filed docs this week to change his given name from Dieuson Octave to “Bill Kahan Blanco.”

It’s not clear why Kodak chose the name or what its significance is. It also isn’t clear if Kodak’s son, King Khalid, 2, will have this new last name as a result of the change.

We’ve reached out Kodak’s lawyer for comment.

A judge has yet to rule on the name change.
