Mobb Deep Member’s Homegoing Is This Week In NYC
Prodigy’s camp has announced the funeral details for the veteran New York rapper.
Prodigy, 42, died June 20th in Las Vegas. Although Prodigy – real name Albert Johnson – was known to have suffered sickle cell anemia for years, his cause of death is still not known, according to a rep from the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office.
A celebration of life will be held for the “Quiet Storm” rapper on June 29 at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home in New York City, according to his rep. The event will be open to the public from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
