Podcast Host Pled Guilty To Gun Charges

Taxstone won’t have to face the music just yet after copping to owning the gun used in the deadly T.I. concert shooting last year.

A judge has OK’d a “Fatico” or pre-sentencing for Taxstone, where his lawyer will argue against prosecutors’ proposed punishment, according to court records obtained by BOSSIP.

Taxstone, the onetime host of popular podcast “Tax Season,” pled guilty this month to charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and receiving a gun through interstate commerce, and faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a max of $400,00 in fines.

But the Fatico hearing will give both the feds and his lawyer Ken Montgomery the opportunity to present their cases, and use evidence and witnesses to prove their point.

Taxstone, who has been held without bail since January, will be back in court in August for the hearing.
