Maliah Michel Goes In On Drake For “Retiring” Her From Stripping

Drake hosted his annual Houston Appreciation Weekend this past Saturday and Sunday, and decided to honor a few of his favorite ladies of the pole from his favorite city while he was at it.

Drake decided to gift three healthy-bodied dancers who have built names in the industry — partially for their involvement with Drake over the years — by escorting them to a posh party and gifting them with things all strippers love: Louboutin heels and cold hard cash. Lira Galore and Miracle Watts happily showed up on Drake’s arms and accepted their presents.

He even formally “retired” them from the game, hanging their jerseys up in the rafters at his celeb B-ball game.

But one of Drake’s favorite booty-clappers, Maliah Michel, didn’t bother to show up for the party or the jersey retirement. The woman who inspired the line “Someone tell Maliah, I’m on fire” not only didn’t show up to collect her prizes, but she had a choice post for Papi later in the evening.

But she wasn’t done explaining why she was NOT about to let Drake drive her away from lap dancing…

Interesting that Drake stays on strippers, and yet pressures them to quit their profession behind closed doors…

We’re sure the fact that Maliah’s good homegirl Rosee Divine is currently in France carrying Drake’s baby might have colored her reaction as well…but honestly, isn’t it a little rude for a man who only swoops into town on occasion to come through and essentially TELL you that you won’t be working as a dancer anymore? ESPECIALLY if he has no plans to pay all your bills himself.
