Kerry Rhodes & Nicky Whelan Split

That was fast! After just 6-months of marriage, things are already over between Kerry Rhodes and his Australian actress wife. The former NFL player and Nicky Whelan are officially over, this according to Whelan herself who declined to comment extensively “because it’d make things tricky.”

Whelan recently told The Daily Telegraph; “I can confirm that I have left him but other than that I am not willing to comment any further, because anything else I say is going to make things tricky.”

Uhhhhhh….

Whelan’s not taking any more questions on the matter and has set her Instagram to private.

As for Kerry he’s remaining mum on the split and instead promoting the “Tragedy Girls” film he produced starring Alexandra Shipp.

Back in 2013, Kerry fielded rumors about his sexuality after photos surfaced of him hugging his assistant while on vacation.

“Photos have been circulating of my former assistant and I that have caused some rumors regarding my sexuality, and I wanted to address the situation,” he told TMZ. “I am not gay. The shots were taken during a past vacation in a casual environment with my entire business team.”
