La La Anthony And Kerry Washington Stun At Night Of Stars Event

Sheesh! La La Anthony looked stunning in a blue velvet number from Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz, at the annual Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars: Modern Voices last night at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars: “Modern Voices” honors a list of accomplished awardees drawn from the fashion, beauty, entertainment, interior design, and business communities. La La who has her own denim collection with Lord and Taylor came out to support Scandal’s Kerry Washington who accepted The Lord & Taylor Fashion Oracle Award, presented by Samira Nasr. Kerry looks pretty damn good too, the red carpet picture really doesn’t even do her justice.

This week was a festive one for La La, who also attended the Angel Ball on Tuesday… While she was there, she told Page Six she plans to dress as a ninja for Halloween:

“I think I will be a ninja. [My son] Kiyan has 3 ideas that change every day . . . The building I live in is not really into it. We just go to the corner store. The bodegas are the hotspot. They give out the best candy in Harlem and Brooklyn. When they see me and my son they say, ‘Ooh, that’s La La,’ and they give us even more candy.”

Must be nice for Kiyan!
