Both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are responding to all the theories of how their “inorganic” music collaboration came together. Folks across the internet questioned whether or not Cardi jumped on the track after Nicki based on the weird promotion of the song. At first Nicki was promoting it as just a solo Quavo collaboration, but she explains how The Migos and Cardi got on, in this series of tweets:
