Donald Trump Gets The Opposite Of A Warm Welcome In Hawaii

Protesters in Hawaii were ready to go when Donald Trump landed on the island, with many different hilarious signs mocking the POTUS. He received a very warm welcome with different signs that said things like “welcome to Kenya” as President Cheeto touched down on the first leg of his Asia-Pacific tour. It is said by people who were on the island to view his arrival that there were about 200+ protestors and maybe 10 supporters.

Making light of Donald’s past enthusiasm for the so-called “birtherism” conspiracy that targeted Barack Obama, who was born in Hawaii, protestors held signs that read “Aloha means goodbye” and “Immigration gave me my family.” The Hawaiian people were extremely ready to hold up their hilariously accurate signs and make their stance on the POTUS’ arrival clear.

State congressman Kaniela Ing spoke to Hawaii News Now about Trump saying, “Hawaii is the most diverse state in the nation, and just a few days ago Trump literally said, ‘Diversity sounds like a good thing, but it is not a good thing.’ That statement alone undermines the values that make Hawaii, Hawaii.”

Islanders called their rally “Hawaii 3, Trump 0”, many of which holding signs with the same sentiment, referencing the number of times courts in the state have blocked his attempts to institute a ban on travel from majority-Muslim countries.
