Mariah Carey Reportedly Had Gastric Sleeve Weight Loss Surgery
Mariah Carey hasn’t been feeling like herself lately. The extra pounds she had put on were starting to really bother her and open her up for harsh criticism from body shamers.
But unlike most, Mariah has the bread to fix all that ASAP. According to PageSix, Mariah underwent gastric sleeve weight loss surgery last month to shed the pounds.
Says a source:
“Mariah has always been proud of her curves, but this summer, as her Caesars Palace residency came to a close, and then she went on tour with Lionel Richie, she noticed it became harder to dance, and she was getting a lot more criticism online from body shamers.”
The source continues:
“Mariah underwent the procedure about a month ago, and she is already seeing some good results, and she feels a lot better.”
We don’t know if this was a procedure that Mariah’s doctor suggested she get for her health, but her diva sensibility suggests that she just didn’t wanna bust her azz in the gym to lose the weight.
