Hip Hop Fans Are Trying To Out-Stream Taylor’s New Album (Sort Of)

Hello, and welcome to the latest installment of, “what did I do wrong on the internet to end up in the middle of some beef between Kanye West and Taylor Swift super fans?” Today, November 10, marks an important day in the life of Ye, the 10 year anniversary of the unfortunate and untimely passing of his mother, Donda West. Even before her passing, Mr. West had a song titled, “Hey Mama” dedicated to how much he loved and cherished her, so fans planned to stream the song all day in honor of the woman that made Kanye, Kanye.

November 10th also marks the release of Taylor Swift’s latest album, Republica….err, Reputation. When this release date was first announced (paired with the fact that the entire album seems to be about a super old, played-out beef she has with Kanye) people saw it as a very distasteful shot at Ye. Kanye fans plan to stream the song about his mother on the anniversary of her death somehow turned into an evil plan to out-stream Taylor’s new album, and her snakey stans are tainting the internet with this stupid conspiracy.

In what’s being called #HeyMama day, Kanye fans are (relatively) minding their business, and Taylor’s caucasian army is just sure that everyone in the hip-hop world is out to get her….okay, we might be. But it would be amazing for a 12 year old rap song to outchart this tall porcelain woman’s brand new music.

Anyway, take a look at some fans arguing on Twitter, with delusional Taylor Swift supporters getting in their feelings over something putting absolutely no money in their pocket.
