Last night, Twitter erupted when women started to come forward about sexual misconduct experienced at the hands of Twitter personality and party promoter who goes by the Twitter handle @ByeCorn. He is most known for his work with the uber popular Bourbon Ball and TKAS parties.

The women, dozens as of the writing of this article, have alleged that “Corn” has done things like grab them inappropriately, push up on them physically and use intimidation. The alleged has responded with an apology for anyone he made uncomfortable and has stepped away from Bourbon Ball and Twitter. However, that hasn’t stopped women from coming out.

Bourbon Ball has responded by banning him from future events:

You may ask why we are covering a story like this involving people who aren’t “celebrities,” but the answer is clear: black women deserve the same recognition as everyone else when it comes to discussing their trauma.

The last few months have been full of sexual predators being outed for their crimes of assault, rape and harassment. They’ve made front page news, but they all have one thing in common: the Kevin Spaceys, Louis CKs and Harvey Weinsteins of the world are having their careers ruined for assaulting white men and women. Kelly, who continues to thrive despite multiple stories about the way he treats women.

Disclaimer: some of these stories involve sexual misconduct and harassment and may be difficult to read for anyone who has experienced similar situations. For that reason, we are putting the testimonies on the next page. We have spoken to each of the women featured and got their consent to amplify their voices on our platform.
