Cam’ron Addresses Kanye’s Brotherly Beef With Jay-Z On New Track

About a week ago, Cam’ron announced that he was planning on dropping his latest mixtape, The Program. The Harlem rapper did drop hints at the material he’d be releasing on his Instagram page throughout the week, including stating that he’s “on some bullshit on this joint,” and also offering a warning saying, “If u emotional don’t listen.” Apparently the rapper was talking to some specific people when he mentioned getting emotional, because Cam fired some crazy shots Kanye’s way on one of his new songs.

On The Program’s 4th song titled, “Coleslaw,” Cam opens up about how he feels about the situation between Kanye West and Jay Z. As you probably already know, Kanye called out Hov and his family on stage, Jay referenced it on his album 4:44 and in his Rap Radar podcast thereafter, and since the two have apparently been in a legal dispute over Kanye’s supposed money snubs from Tidal.

Here’s what Cam’ron says about Kanye on the track:

Kanye got on stage, what he do? Play Jay-Z out

What he do next? Check into the crazy house?

Fuck that, you made a living talking greasy

Besides that, man, you Yeezy with the Yeezys

Be yourself, you ain’t gotta go AWOL

And fuck that, ‘Ye, I been that way since yay tall

If you regret it, then dead it, but if you said it, you said it

This verse isn’t necessarily “throwing shots” at Kanye–beside implying he checked into a “crazy house”–but he’s more telling him to be himself. He doesn’t really say that what he said about Jay was a negative or positive thing, but mentions it along with saying that he “made a living talking greasy.”

Who knows when Kanye will finally release some new music, but if he’s on his rapping isht, he’s got more than a few people to fire back at in his lyrics.
