Two Hired Killers In Florida Target And Kill The Wrong Woman
Florida Crazies: Two Hired Killers Realize They Tied Up Wrong Woman, Proceed To Kill Her Anyway
Couple Hired To Kill Murder The Wrong Woman Even After Realizing Their Mistake
Halfway into a Florida murder-for-hire plot, a boyfriend and girlfriend hit team realized that they had zip-tied and duct-taped the wrong woman, but unfortunately they decided to kill her anyway, according to officials.
The victim was 42-year-old Janice Marie Zengotita-Torres, who was forced into the trunk of her own car, tortured for her ATM card, and then suffocated with garbage bags. She was a mother of her 14-year-old son, and was found Monday dumped in Ormond Beach, six miles north of Daytona, ABC News reported.
Osceola County Sheriff Russ Gibson said that even after accused hit team, Alexis Ramos and Glorianmarie Quinones Montes, realized they had the wrong woman, they still “continued with their plan of murder.” Ishnar Lopez Ramos was charged with ordering the hit, originally intended for a romantic rival.
Gibson stated, “It was just a mistaken identity…I don’t say that lightly, that this woman lost her life for no reason. This mother, this wife, this daughter — for no reason, at all.”
