Xscape’d: Kandi Burruss Worries Group Will Squander Xscape’s Legacy, Refuses To Sing On New Album

Kandi Confirms She Won’t Be Singing Any Xscape Records
Welp, in case folks were wondering if Kandi Burress was going to be a part of any of the new Xscape music being recorded recently, the answer is a big fat NO. Burress spoke to Madame Noire on why she feels uneasy recording new music with the girls.
“As soon as the girls and I started talking initially I had told them I didn’t really want to do new music and the main reason is because I feel like I don’t want to mess with our legacy. When we were a group we had three platinum albums, all of our albums were hits, we never had a flop album and things are not how they used to be back then.”
Kandi goes on to say they’re 4 different women who don’t see eye to eye creatively, so she feels it will tarnish their hard work. Peep the whole interview below.
