Clerk In Meek’s Hearing Fired For Asking The Rapper For Money
The news broke a couple days ago that Meek Mill’s court clerk slipped the rapper a note asking him for money, and now that same clerk has officially been fired for the incident.
According to reports from TMZ, court officials agree that the court clerk in question, Wanda Chavarria, crossed the line when she wrote a note asking Mill for money in order to help pay her son’s college tuition. She wrote in the note, “Unfortunately with my bad credit, I am unable to secure a loan or co-sign for my son…Anything that you can do is very much appreciated.”
Meek’s lawyers claim that Chavarria slipped the note to Meek while she was serving as clerk for Judge Genece Brinkley. Though the woman stays firm that the judge did not know about the note, the rapper’s lawyers allege that she verbally asked Meek for money while close enough to the judge for them to hear.
