2 Chainz Releases A Brand New 4 Track EP

After only announcing the project a few hours prior, 2 Chainz has released a new, unexpected EP titled, The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It. The title was inspired by John James “Jimbo” Fisher Jr., head football coach at Texas A&M University, who said the quote in reference to a football play.

The project is short with only 4 songs but from the looks of reviews already surfacing online, Chainz went quality over quantity with this one–and fans are really enjoying this surprising project from one of Atlanta’s best.

Three of the tracks are 2 Chainz alone in all his glory, but the song “PROUD” definitely shines with guest features from YG and Offset.  The rapper teased new music earlier this week, but didn’t elaborate on what he was releasing beside simply writing on Instagram, “NEW S**T IN A FEW DAYS.”

You can catch 2 Chainz’ new EP The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It on all  streaming platforms.
